About Us

Empowering Single Mothers, Building Stronger Futures

At MUMROOT CIC, we believe that every single mother deserves the opportunity to grow, thrive, and build a better future for herself and her children. Founded in 2025 and based in East Ham, London, MUMROOT CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to supporting single mothers through practical resources, emotional guidance, skill-building programs, and community empowerment initiatives.

Our Vision

To create a world where every single mother feels empowered, valued, and supported — socially, emotionally, and economically.
We aim to build a network that strengthens single-parent families and nurtures confidence, independence, and opportunity.

Our Mission

MUMROOT CIC’s mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where single mothers can:

  • Access education and skills training
  • Receive financial and emotional support
  • Connect with a community that understands their challenges
  • Develop pathways toward employment and entrepreneurship

We work with local communities, charitable partners, and social initiatives to help single mothers rebuild their confidence and secure long-term stability for their families.

What We Do

1. Empowerment Workshops

We conduct regular workshops focused on mental well-being, financial literacy, parenting support, and career development. Our goal is to help single mothers gain confidence, develop new skills, and navigate life with strength and resilience.

2. Training & Employment Programs

We partner with businesses, NGOs, and training institutes to offer job-readiness programs, digital skills training, and career placement opportunities. By supporting mothers in developing employable skills, we help them achieve economic independence.

3. Emotional & Mental Health Support

Our support circles, counseling sessions, and peer groups provide a space for single mothers to connect and heal. We work with licensed counselors and volunteers to offer mental health support and stress management tools.

4. Community Outreach

Through community events, donation drives, and collaboration with local councils, we extend support to vulnerable families. Our outreach initiatives ensure that no single mother feels alone in her journey.

5. Childcare & Family Support

We’re developing affordable and flexible childcare options to support working and studying mothers, ensuring their children receive care and education in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our Values

  • Empowerment – We uplift single mothers to take control of their lives with dignity and confidence.
  • Compassion – Every decision we make comes from understanding and empathy.
  • Integrity – We uphold transparency, honesty, and trust in everything we do.
  • Community – Together, we build a stronger foundation for mothers and children to flourish.
  • Sustainability – We focus on long-term impact and self-sufficiency for families in need.
